Richard-Max Tremblay lives and works in Montreal. He has a Post-Graduate Diploma, Fine Arts, from Goldsmiths College of Art and Design, London, England, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montreal.
His work has been exhibited in numerous individual and group shows, notably at the Centre culturel canadien in Paris, the Musée national des beaux-arts de Québec (MNBAQ), Quebec City, the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts, the Musée d’art de Joliette, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA), the Galerie d’art des Services culturels de la Délégation générale du Québec in Paris, and the Leonard and Bina Ellen Gallery, Concordia University in Montreal.
Richard-Max Tremblay is recipient of the Louis-Comtois Award (2003), and the Royal Canadian Academy (RCA) Trust Award (2015) in collaboration with the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art.
